What you need before you start

Three things, gathered before you start. The setup walkthrough shows you how to create each one in ConnectWise and Xero. Allow about ten minutes to prepare; the actual setup work is fifteen to twenty minutes after that.

ConnectWise API user

Dedicated integration member with public + private API keys. Scoped to invoice, procurement, payment, and credit-note read/write. The walkthrough shows exactly which permissions.

Xero admin role

Permission to grant OAuth-2 access on your Xero organisation(s). Standard Xero admin role covers this.

Mapping CSV (optional)

If you have many locations, accounts, or tracking categories, prepare a CSV. The mapping panel will bulk-import. For small mappings the in-product UI is faster than CSV.

Stuck on a step?

AU support is on chat from the dashboard during business hours, Adelaide time. Or browse the FAQ, most setup blockers are covered there.
